Sadly, twleve horses are dead. After the truck where they were kept overturned in Canada. The driver was immediately charged with careless driving. The livestock trailer was carrying 44 horses in all, and was on Deerfoot Trail when it tipped over into the median strip and overturned. A few of the horses managed to escape, good thing, passing motorists stopped to help. Although most of the poor horses were trapped lying on top of the other.
